The George Town Chamber of Commerce held their official Website Launch and Networking event at The York Cove Hotel
2023 Business Excellence Awards
Nomination entries for the 2023 Business Excellence Awards remain open till 30th September. Judging will take place on the 11th or 12th October - finalists will be advised where and which day at least a week before.
The Award ceremony will be an evening event with food and refreshments provided on Thursday 26th October in the George Town War Memorial Hall.
Award categories are as follows:
- Best Marketing/Advertising Campaign
- Excellence in Retail
- Community Contribution
- Apprentice/Trainee of the Year
- Best New Business
- Business Achievement
- Agricultural Award
- Excellence in Customer Service
- Excellence in Sustainability
- Excellence in Hospitality & Tourism
- Excellence in Environmental Innovation
If you know of a business or person you feel is deserving in any of the above categories please nominate them!

For every $10.00 spent in participating stores you have the chance to fill in a ticket for the weekly draw leading into Xmas. Each week during December there will be a $100.00 Gift Card and the Grand Prize being a $500.00 Gift Card.
